Treasure Hunt: Spring Flats

Bonjour!

How was everyone’s weekend?  It was such a lovely weekend here in Texas. The weather was so nice & sunny. Perfect for a day out shopping!

I decided to make my way to the local T.J. Maxx.  To be honest, I rarely go to T.J. Maxx.  Unlike the self-proclaimed Maxxinistas, I just never seem to find anything when I go.  Maybe, I just don’t have the patience to comb through the racks.  I usually gravitate towards the shoes & purses.  Even in the shoe department, I never seem to find shoes that I like in my size.  However, this time I was pleasantly surprised with the selection they had available.  I found several flats that would be great for this coming spring.

They had a selection of teal colored flats by Steve Madden, BCBG  and Lucky. All of them are priced at $29.99.

I kind of liked the BCBG flats, which they also had available in a neon yellow. However, I am not a big fan of the wooden, cork board toe look. I did try them on, and they didn’t look so bad. I just don’t think I can pull it off. I bet I’ll see someone wearing them and I am going to wish I had bought them, well maybe. I tried on all of the flats and they all felt pretty comfy.

T.J. Maxx also had Nine West flats in black & nude.  These were priced at $34.99  I tried them on and they felt kind of rough on my feet, not as soft & comfy as the others.

If what you need are some new sandals this spring, T.J. Maxx also had several different brands & colors to choose from.  They had black & brown Steve Madden ones. And then these cute bright BCBG sandals for $39.99.

From what I could tell, all of the flats & sandals were available in all sizes.  That’s probably because it’s January and they might have just put them out. So if you think you could use a new pair of flats or sandals, make your way to T.J. Maxx before they sell out. Spring will be here before you know it! And remember there is no such thing as having too many shoes, you can never have enough!

Bisous!
